The new jazz quartet album by highly acclaimed German pianist and composer Sebastian Gahler takes you into the surreal world of the best-selling Japanese author Haruki Murakami.

Anyone familiar with the novels and stories of Haruki Murakami can appreciate their wealth of musical references: music playing in the background of a scene, characters discussing musicians, pieces of music occurring as central motifs or in such abstract forms as the structural design of a novel. Two Moons reverses this literary concept and musically refers back to Murakami's works.

"We begin in medias res: The first track on the album, Kafka Tamura. It's grabbed hold of us – we're right there! The intro itself already creates a vortex that sucks us directly into the parallel world of the album Two Moons.
